YSA is a year-round singing school.
Lessons are weekly with 48 lessons in a calendar year.
YSA is closed 4 weeks per year for academic breaks.​ ​
Fall Break - November / Thanksgiving Week
Winter Break - December / Christmas Week
Spring Break - Mid-March
Summer Break - TBD

Is YSA closed on Holidays?
Yes! We believe faculty and students benefit from holidays off to celebrate and recharge.
We are closed for the major U.S. holidays and Halloween!

What if my private lesson lands on a Holiday?
Should your regularly scheduled private lesson fall on a holiday,
you may reschedule for an alternate time that week only.

Are there make-up lessons?
There are no make-up lessons.
In lieu of make-ups, we offer asynchronous video coaching or group lesson replay.
There are no credits or make ups for Academic Breaks, Reserved Weekly Lessons or Group Classes.

Your program spot saves a recurring weekly time just for you!
Should you need to change your reserved time, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Tuition covers EVERYTHING that goes into building the best PK-12 vocal program for you.

SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT

Traveling? Summer Camp? We understand! 
The Private Program is Year-Round with
3 months of Flexible Summer Scheduling + 4 Summer Make Ups!
Unlike September through May when lessons are tight and we can't reschedule your reserved weekly lesson time,
 "Flexible Summer Scheduling" gives you the freedom to move your lesson time within the week during June, July & August. 
You will also receive up to 4 summer make-up lesson credits.
This means you can take up to 4 weeks off from lessons at your convenience.
You'll be able to add on those lessons at another time...perfect as a boost before a performance
or during a school break when YSA is still in session and you have extra time. 

Need more than 4 weeks off? OK with returning to a different time/teacher?
Pausing is for you.
Pause with a return date and we'll prioritize you over those on the New Student Wait List and spare you the registration fee. We'll do our best to reinstate your monthly plan at that date if there is space available. Please note that your current teacher and your desired lesson time cannot be guaranteed. Our teacher's schedules are very limited and most are already sold out (scroll down to see the list)!
